I'm interested in what they are doing as well. I got DACA at 24 .. so my life from 18-23 was pretty much doing nothing. I hated that our family did not have money saved up for an emergency so I began working in fast food once i got DACA and worked my way up to Assistant store manager. In that time I saved up almost everything I could minus bills/etc.
Now I finally have a decent amount saved up to be able to afford out of state tuition in NC.. It may or may not work out but I'm still trying.
To this date i'm still with this same fast food job although i stepped down to a shift manager to not be a salary manager, this is definitely not what I want to do forever but they really didnt want to lose me so for now im making 13/hr with them, kinda crazy considering its fast food but im just saving everything I can until another opportunity comes up.

I'm a construction superintendent, last year I made 75k, this year I'm aiming on making close to 90k.

I'm 30 years old and I have been in construction since I was 17. I'm a master carpenter by trade, I also have some pipe fitting and mansory background.

I took a 6 month continue education class of Construction Management at Pace University, which greatly improved my skill set since I'm moving more towards the management side of the business.

Other than English, I also speak Spanish and Portuguese, which helped me greatly throughout my career.

I work as a Supervisor at UPS, make okay money to pay for everything i need and save some.
My goal is to become a driver of the brown trucks, they make bank without a college degree or get a degree in business and move higher in management .

I been working for UPS since i got DACA almost 4 years but i haven't been approved for my renewal so im stressing because i don't want to lose my job.

Research the contruction field, a fellow DACAer I know makes over 125k a year now and didnt even graduate from high school.... He opened a Tile company.

He is one of the reasons why it angers me when people ask for college/university as requirement to fix our situation on legislations. College/university is so overrated.

If you go to college for an arts degree, don't complain about student loans.
