I submitted my AP application last week and they received it on Monday. I need it by the 29th of July to leave the country for roughly six weeks.

When should I start panicking and calling the USCIS office? I expedited but I'm not sure if that really helps. If I don't receive it three weeks prior I'm thinking of going down to the field office and ask for emergency AP. Will I have to pay again?

Anyone have gone through this before?

You sent an AP request with roughly 6 weeks to allow it to process? You can try to call yo expedite, but unless it's for humanitarian reasons, you're just going to have to wait. Some people waited 4 months or more for AP.

Did you request an expedited process when you sent the package? There are instructions on how to do it and it works. It requires proof.

I did it in about two months and it was done with no problems.

Did you not know you could of expedite the package when you sent it in?

I am unsure if you can expedite it once you sent it.

Maybe send in the package again?

It's for work. I just started working there but in the interview process they mentioned I would be going to Europe. I couldn't submitted then because I wasn't employed by them yet and didn't have proof. This was my second week there so I barely was able to get a letter from them saying how they were sending me out for training.

Read this semaj. You may need to go in person or call.

Print out the email from them saying you have to go for training. This is proof so you can show USCIS the company will lose money if you don't expedite it.

Print out how much it cost.

Also, are you sure you can use your passport to Europe? Make sure of that. Hopefully you don't need a visa.

Yeah, I did. I wrote expedite on the application per the instructions. But I'm asking in the event it still takes longer and I possibly don't get it before my flight

In that case, you should try to call or see them in person. What part of Europe you going to?
