Can anyone Advice me on this issue..

I was told by a 2nd level officer that I had a U-visa Application pending so she could not give me any information about my DACA case! But the thing is, that I have Never applied for such visa. Has anyone experience anything similar? What should I do?

I don't have a very common name. However, she asked for my A# and birth date. So I don't think she was mistaking me for someone else.. I told her that I have never applied for such visa and she said it was on my record. So I don't know what to do now.

I'll call again tomorrow. Hopefully, it was an error on her part.

If not, call a lawyer and get on it! Given the recent DACA events, you don't want to take your chances.

He didn't file a uvisa you're telling him to get a lawyer and see if anything comes out USCIs error ? Lots of people here have had their cases read "green card " and nothing came of it

What is the lawyer going to do? Do you think he has an SSL tunnel with a token ID that he can just use to check the USCIS database of Uvisas cases? What can a lawyer do in this case that the OP can't?

The lawyer will email or call and that's it. Things that the user can do.

Call again and see if you can get to the right person. If they tell you the same thing, Don't listen to the nay-sayers on here and get a lawyer. This is your life and in the current climate, they arrest first and sort it out later. Lawyer won't have any magical power but they likely have seen this sort of thing before and know what the safest course of action is to clear it up.
