House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) called for action on President Trump's proposed wall along the U.S.-Mexico border in a video he tweeted out on Tuesday.

"RT if you agree," he posted on Twitter, along with a video of a border visit he made. "It is time for the wall."

The video shows Speaker Ryan on a visit to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas, where he met with border patrol forces.

He's saying that because there's no clear path forward for health care or tax reform, and the White House needs a win.

They are getting desperate and know they have to pass something before they get destroyed in the midterms. I don't see how the wall is going to better their constituents lives, they can build the biggest wall and there will still be ways for Mexico to smuggle drugs and people over. Mostly because the BP agents are bought out by cartels to turn a blind eye.

Well so much for legislation, looks like the house is on Recess and not due back until Sept 5th. I think it is going to up to the courts now.
