hey guys, most of you know i graduated H.S. from CA, so i fall under the AB540. ive been denied for going to a state college here in NV. b/c i don't have a an I-94 stamp, since i lost it. do you think it will be a problem at any colleges in CA, i was also thinking about the R.O.P. programs since they're almost free. (they have a CNA program, so maybe i could get some kind of job if i get that certificate),so if any of you guys can help me out. id appreciate it

I think in order to qualify for the AB540 you must have graduated from a CA high school and at least have been living there for 3 years.

if you've lost you're I-94, you can apply for a replacement by filing the I-102. It's a little pricey ($320) but it's definitely worth having. Good luck!

All you need is a HS transcript to prove that you've been here for at least 3 years. Submit that and AB540 will go through. Try it, it works!

about the ROP deal, most require you have a SS# i remember in high school when i attempted to sing up for one of the programs i was not allowed for obvious reasons... BUT there are a couple of ROP courses that do allow you to sing up with out showing them any type of documentation.. but then again those courses are the ones that get you nowhere and are pretty much use-less. = /
.. but still you might want to research some more on this, maybe someone else knows some more about the program im just basing my opinion on a personal experience.

Documents to show that your undocumented...hilarious.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think I remember reading somewhere that you have to have lived here without moving our something...

yea bout that citi, i talked to someone at a city college in LA, and they told me that the HS transcripts were ok but they needed a gov't issued id, and i couldn't use my passport. she was like do you have a, state id, or voting card.? i was like wtf?.im undocumented i can't have that. lol. anyways. do you think my ITIN info,(once i get it, cuz i just applied) will be ok. i mean thats gov't issued cuz she also did tell if i had a apt. lease or tax return.or how about the Selective service card?

Just tell City College in LA "Citi says: If it's good enough with TSA, it's good enough with City College, bitches." Then slap them around a little. That always does the trick.
lol.exactly, its not like im applyin to usc or ucla jeez. well it shud be good enough then, i got all of that except my ITIN papers, cuz it;ll be comin in the mail soon. im doin the app online tho, ill let u know what happens thanx
