Hi Dreamers I want to be a respiratory therapist and I am planing to join Valencia college in orlando. My I -130 interview is next month and in process of AOS. Am I eligible for FAFSA or some kind of state help? classes are starting on August 28. Should I wait and apply for fafsa when I become permanent resident or I should apply now? I don't want to wait and waste time if things can work it out. I have trusted YOU DREAMERS and have got always best guidence from you guys and I am sure you guys will help me this time .
Thank you so much

DACA holders are not eligible for federal funds. Now, you might eligible for some state funds (I am not knowledgeable in the options in FL). In order to find out what you are eligible for, you need to fill out a FAFSA. You wont lose anything applying for it.

do NOT apply for fafsa. you could get in trouble for doing that.

that is only available for green card holders and US citizens.
