Got my glasses a week ago, ready for 99.6% at home. Decided not to drive down to the path of totality because of the nightmare traffic that was projected coming back.

I was in the 67% path so it wasn't as good as it could have been, but it was still nice to make a pinhole projector and take pictures of the halfmoon shadows cast by various objects.

It's kind of a good reminder that in the grand scheme of things, we are but a tiny part of the universe and we're all going to die soon so it's best to enjoy the little things while we can.
