Sometimes when I'm talking to my parents, I just get incredibly pissed off. I haven't done it because it'd be mean and I love them, but I want them to know I sometimes blame them for this bullshit situation I'm in. Worst part is, they're both LPRs and they get to stay here while I could be potentially screwed. I'm over 21, so the petition they have for me is going to take a long time.

It just pisses me off that I have to pay for what they did everyday of my life.

Nope, never blame them for this. I wouldn't be the person I am if it wasn't for them.

When I was younger and ignorant of what it means to sacrifice your life for a better life for your family.

At this point in life, I am grateful for everything that my parents have done for me.

I was the same as you and honestly any dreamer who gets pissed off at their parents really need a humbling lesson.

I was immature, young and naive and I hurt my parents so bad when I was younger . It wasn't until I was older that I realized all of their hard work and determination. All of our parents only had in life was hope and determination.

You try making a better life with nothing but hope . It's hard guys our parents are the most resilient people we will ever know .

When I finally got advance parole I was able to visit the shit place I came from . No electricity, no running water , no jobs and a system that keeps you down and does not care about you .

Thanks to our parents sacrificed we are here and thair hope paid off for us with Daca and more soon .

My parents are at the twilight of their lives unfortunately. They never planned on any of this and one of them in fact never wanted us to stay here once things went south and he was back in the old country. I blame some other relatives however who didn't care and broke promises.

Wow, that sucks. You have other siblings or were they born here?

My dad was also irresponsible and inconsiderate. He didn't apply for AOS when we were younger at a time when we could have gotten approved. People kept telling him to do so but he procrastinated for years and when he finally did, laws had changed and it was too late and the case was denied. So yeah, I feel ya.

Yeah I would pretty much disown him.
