Quote:
President Trump has pardoned former Maricopa County, Ariz., sheriff Joe Arpaio, the White House announced Friday night.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders had said earlier this week that Trump would make an announcement on Arpaio at an "appropriate time."

Trump had hinted at a rally in Phoenix on Tuesday that he was preparing to pardon the controversial former sheriff who was convicted of criminal contempt.

Arpaio was convicted July 31 of criminal contempt by a federal judge for disobeying a federal order on detaining individuals suspected of being in the U.S. illegally.
Trump is trying to please his base. Seems like we're next

He's a fucking idiot Trump. Can't believe that shit. Totally let me down on that one. If he fucks around with DACA, he's going to feel the pressure at the polls in the 2018 election. Bring on the barrage of attacks. Karma will get Arpaio one day.

Well, on one side, Trump would have ended DACA by now, but I guess we can only wait and see . . . fingers crossed.

Hypocrisy at is best. You can't be for the rule of law and then pardon someone who violated the law. Wow.

He is pleasing his base pardoning this guy, pushing funds for the wall and divert attention away from us.
