''Here To Stay"

Is it me or is the stupid "here to stay" phrase ruining our movement? It sounds extremely snobby and entitled to say "heeere to stey". I can't describe how pissed off I get when these UWD activists say "Wii ARE HEEEERE TO STEY!'' Like seriously? I appreciate UWD and their help but they do more bad than good sometimes.

Same thing with protest signs written in Spanish. Like, I get you're proud of your roots, but Mexican flags and Spanish picket signs will not sway Republicans to our side, especially for DACA/Dreamers activist events – Dreamers are said to be American in all but paper, so let's show that.

So they should change it to "here to possibly be deported"?

How about something along the lines of We are Americans. Allow us to stay?

Or better yet...

"We'll trade our parents for GCs!"

how about "we love to submit to our emperor trump and sacrifice others for green card"

I agree.. it's almost like they are challenging the system with "Here to stay" & "Undocumented & unafraid".

How about "Here to contribute"
