This is BS to calm down the backlash he is getting right now. Public will forget about DACA in 6 months and he won't have to take any actions. And trust me in 6 month there will be problems far bigger than daca.

New apps are being accepted if they were filed before yesterday. I think the 6 month window was to put pressure to Congress to pass something.
