Nothing. I was brought to this country as a 7 year old, I don't see why I should be forced to pay a fine. I'll pay what it costs to submit my applications, nothing else.

I came here when I was 5 years old but I would sell my house tomorrow if I had to use it to pay for the fine.

Hypothetically speaking, if a legislation passed that could legalize you but required a fine would you forego being legalized?

$10,000 or less.

I have paid my dues. I have already spent $40,000 when you add up all the AOS applications and different cases and times I have renewed my EAD. And I am still not done or legalized. Been here for like 24 years now.

I would wire 10k in a few seconds if that was the price. For me, I look at it as an investment into the future. You would spend 10k easy in lawyer fees just to get through the legal process like filing application and going to immigration court. We spent over 50k in legal fees and still had no chance.

For me this would be worth more than a college education or a house. I personally wouldn't of wasted 200k+ on a college education if Obama didn't make the promise to pass immigration reform in his first two years. I just want the free freedom to compete on a even playing field against every us citizen.

I been working with investors from out of the country and they are dropping 500k for investment visa for their children.
