Guys - I'm worried about some posters' mental health.

We need to support each other and ensure no one has suicidal thoughts.

Mental health may be an issue for some of us with the current situation - all the political stuff that's going on with DACAers.

Please use this forum or contact a suicide hotline if you feel the need to talk.

We are all here to support you. We are in this together <3

If you're feeling depressed - here are some things that have worked for me in the past.

Of course doesn't apply to suicidal thoughts.

1) Listen to happy music
2) Go outside and get moving - hiking, jogging, walking. Be amongst nature.
3) Spend time with friends - force yourself - even if you don't feel like it
4) Read George Takei's Twitter/Facebook He always cheers me up!
5) Read all the social media posts by folks who support us! It really helps to remind yourself how many people are on our side and care about us. ---> Jose Vargas, Angela Nye, celebrities, etc.

Talk to someone you can trust.

Your fellow Dreamers are always here if you need an ear <3

Thank you.

Here's the number to the national suicide hotline if you feel you can't make through this: 1-800-273-8255

PLEASE remember to use it if you must. We're all scared, but we're not alone.

I had a tiny little breakdown today in the shower. I am stressed from work, fearing for my future, just getting over living through hurricane that nearly flooded my house, the complications from my relationship and I feel pulled in different directions. Life is tough. But we made it through worse. This too shall pass.

Please hang in there. I'm so sorry you were one of those impacted in the hurricane.

My heart goes out to you - you seem to be dealing with a lot right now <3

Hang in there....we are SO close!

Life is tough and like you said we have made it thru worse. Most of us have forgotten what it felt like pre-Daca but we made it thru then...and we will do so now! Sending good vibes to you!

Love and prayers <3

I guess we created multiple discussions. Glad we're all here to support each other!

Not like the US will bury you here, your body would still get deported and buried in your home country - Bottom line is... Might as well stay alive
