Have you guys noticed that pretty much every single post and comment in this forum is in English?

We might take it for granted but the fact that everything is in English instead of Spanish is really profound.

I think this shows how well integrated the members of this forum are, because the vast majority of DACA recipients are from Spanish speaking countries.

Of course, that'd be like us going to a dreamer rally and waving a Mexican flag around

Profound? I don't think so. Doesn't it make more sense for the expectation to be that we are proficient in English because we have lived in and have been educated in the US since we were young children?

@4look4rd - please educate yourself before making such comments in future. I hope you're not a USC/GC just lurking around here. If you are, and would like to learn about us....

This would be a good place to start: https://twitter.com/DefineAmerican/s...93995143258112

Most (if not all) of us grew up here - went to US schools/colleges. Average entry age of Daca recipients is 6 years old.

It would be nice if Dreamers would educate themselves and continue to inform the public. It's sad to see how many misconceptions there are just within the Daca/Dreamer community.

Look at the USCIS report, the top five countries are Spanish speaking. Over 90% of approvals were from Spanish speaking countries.
