DHS does little to ease nervous DACA recipients

The acting Secretary of Homeland Security said Wednesday during a congressional hearing she could not guarantee the personal information of young immigrants who applied for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program would not be turned over to immigration and customs authorities.

These pieces of shit will get such a backlash they wouldn't know what hit gen if they start sharing info for negative purposes.

Deport us or legalize us.

What kind of backlash do you think they will get? It should be obvious Trump and his administration will not do anything for us.

Backlash from non profit organizations fighting for us , our communities , trust me they woke the giant up by stopping DACA they don't want the giant attacking

I feel news like this puts even more pressure on Congress to pass legislation for us. So the head of DHS or ICE coming out and saying that they may detain DACA recipients is a good thing. It adds urgency to the passing of DREAMer relief.

Well, if They do not do anything,

we should plan a massive protest.

if 100 k of us show up at the whitehouse and congress i am sure that would be massive press coverage etc...

Or they can just think of it as us doing their homework for them and put us on nice air conditioned buses back to where we came from.

I think all 800k of us should show up to DC and do some sort of protest. Ask them to pass DA in exchange for fines, border security, etc. Stop the city from functioning until they pass something.
