I just received a couple of text and emails with the following:

Application Type: I821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On October 13, 2017, we sent you a “Notice of Termination” of your Deferred Action and Employment Authorization. When you receive the notice, read it carefully. It explains why your deferred action and employment authorization were terminated.

*****************************

I have not gotten in trouble.

Quick history I applied for DACA and was denied because of a DUI
Then I expunged and was accepted only had DACA for a year because the mail lost my Work Authorization card.
I payed then a new one for the remaining year.

My DACA expires on May.

But why did you receive this out of the blue? Did you apply for a renewal recently? My renewal was just approved last week and I received no such letter or email. I just got my EAD and DACA approval letter both in the mail today.

This is kinda scary because it does say that your DACA can be terminated anytime and your EAD revoked anytime by the government.

I couldn't apply for renewal since I was to expire on May.
Once I get the letter I will see why, I will definitely contact the ACLU if it's because of the 10 year old DUi which I did expunged. They accepted me with it!

The letter will explain why it was terminated. Unfortunately I don't think there's much you can do until you find out the reason.

Post Decision Activity

So they are going back to old cases and revoking and terminating them? Is it because we are going to get some sort of relief for DACA recipients soon and they want to decrease the number of people eligible for it. Wow. Seems unfair. I’m sorry, feel bad for ya. Wait until you get the letter to see what it says.
