Closure after a breakup

A friend and I were discussing last night and wanted your perspective on it.

How did you guys get closure after a failed relationship? Did you and your ex talk calmly after a month or even a year, did you write your Ex a letter, or just Never looked back?

If you were to get closure with your ex you run the chances of getting back with that person. There is a reason why the relationship failed.

Nope, never looked back. I have a rule that after a girl messes up I will go 'no contact' regardless of anything. This will eat and kill the person inside since normal people are wired for closure. Best form of revenge.
