McCain is a douche.. I honestly think the whole "secure the border first" is just what he says so the crazies vote for him. Both him and Obama are for comprehensive immigration reform.. only difference is McCain says "secure the border first."

well Republican in general is just bad news for us... we need some democratic control in washington. But Obama keeps yelling "CHANGE" so he better CHANGE and pass some solid tangible laws... like dream act... Let's see if he can walk the talk.

He's crazy, he keeps talking about people getting in line behind the people who are trying to enter legally. USCIS can't even keep up with those people. WHATEVER MCCain! He's another George Bush, but old and grumpy.

It really amazing how things change in one yr. I used to like the guy, but now I totally dislike him. I can't even believe what he says about immigration anymore.

Lets secure the border, yeah like that will happen anytime soon.

You guys are crazy, imagine Huckabee or Romney in the run for the republicans, how would that make us feel??? Be grateful McCain is more on our side than other/most republicans.

actually i would want romney or huckabee at this point because there is no way they could beat obama. mccain is the best pick to challenge obama b/c mccains independent draw can compete against obama's. The sad thing is that he has been more conservative on immigration than last yr even after he has gotten the rep. nomination.

I think of it this way, even though he may support cir, is passing it even feasible anytime soon? He will focus on the war. Also he doesn't really have support from a lot republicans on immigration. Do you think he can convince them to support such a cir bill and when that fails it will be the same as these last two yrs when passing a piecemeal will be difficult due to the political aftermath.

I'm being real here. People say he his more on our side, but why would we want someone who is more on our side when we can have someone who has consistently stuck to his message and has talked to about passing the dream act specifically, and since durbin is close to obama's campaign and we know what durbin has done for us, why would mccain supposedly returning to compreh. matter to me?
