Which party get the blame from people around you?

There has been a lot of discussion about government shut down in the office today. Most people in my office blame democrats and repeat some of the talking point from GOP. A lot of people see the shut down as democrats shutting down the government for Illegal Alien and they are mad.

What conversions are the people around you having?

this was trump’s and republicans’ plan all along. making the democrats look like the bad guys when they’ve the ones who care more about the general public (majority of citizens) and help out innocent DACA along the way. Republicans know how ordinary voters’ mindset works, see how they are? Trump and the Rep party screwed them with the Tax bill but now they’re thinking badly of the democrats, who tried to save them!!!

hmmm...at work people supported the shutdown for DACA. At church (I go to a white church) they blame both.

People don’t even know what’s going on

The people I know that can vote which is family and friends don’t even vote Republican, never have, never will, so technically they can’t punish a group they don’t vote for.

So for us is Democrats for selling us out. Starting with Feinstein. Had she not been up for re-election this year, you can bet your ass she would have voted with Republicans. She needs to go!

Tell them youre an illegal alien

Find a new job and tell them on the way out that that's the reason you're leaving.

I need the money and it will be hard to find a new job with expiring EAD.

If everything works out (legalization), do it, you can't work with people who think that way of you. I wouldn't, doesn't matter if they know about my status or not.
