This is the farthest we have gotten. We now have a promise from McConnell to put a bill up for a vote. He's on record now, he has to get something done before Feb. 8. Let's wait it out to see how this unfolds. I believe negotiations will move rather quickly now.

Durbin got a plan, he personally signed off on this 3 week extension. i trust him.

How many promises have been broken? Trump has also been on record. Do you really think they care about being on “record”? Even if it passes the Senate, there is no guarantee in the House or the White House. Yes people are panicking because this was our last and only leverage and we have lost it. I get it, we want to be optimistic, but at some point REALITY has to kick in!

In Durbin we trust. Hopefully McConnell and the republicans keep their promise, although I am not sure they will.
