Was just listening to Jeffrey Toobin on CNN. Agree with everything he said:

He is absolutely right. After all this, what the fuck did we get? A promise from McConnell to start debate on the bill in Senate? Are you fucking kidding me?

People here ignore the comments and say that it's just bots, but those are real people. I don't care what the polls say, but most people don't like illegals and they do not want to pass legislation to legalize us.

I have spoken with some really nice folks and I tried to bring up DACA indirectly without telling them I am a DACA holder. They say that they understand that DACA holders are in a bad situation, but we cannot just open the doors for everyone in the world. And these are regular everyday folks (not racist at all).

Pretty much. They would agree to this even before the shutdown. So there was no point of shutting down the government for 3 days.

We got CHIP out of the way. Daca to be priority number one. And McConnell to publicly say he will bring daca down to the floor, something he has never said before. And a 3-week deadline before having to vote for a budget again.

I agree with your statement. This was a wise decision imo, no excuses from the GOP when the time comes.

It is really weird for me because I am a DACA holder yet I also like Trump and believe myself to be a true liberal but with more of a conservative slant. It it hard at times, but I know I can't be the only one. I also believe that we "can't open the doors for everyone" but I believe DACA is a special case. Since we are already here and in some cases like mine, have been here since infanthood. I also believe our parents are a special case because some they like mine, have been here for two plus decades. So you might say I am a Trump supporter but depending on how this goes, I could turn on him but by then it wont really matter because I can't stand Democrats either.

Jeffrey Toobin is exactly right. Dem just want to use us .They never sincerely want to solve our issue.
They just caved .

I want to be optimistic, but sometimes you just have to face the reality. These politicians ( GOP or Dem) only care about their political interest first. They are always acting like they are nice person, they have sympathy for us. Fuck all of them ! What a bunch of hypocrites! Schumer and Pelosi are the biggest true hypocrite.

They can pass the Biggest Tax bill in 1 day, they can't pass Dream Act in 4 months by now ?

Fucking Trump ! Worst president I have ever seen. This guy lives in his own world.
