Hello dreamers,

I am currently living in Texas and my driver license expires with my EAD. I have sent my renewal in this week. My question is which states allow you to have longer license duration without expiring on the same date as EAD. I remember driving without License and always used to tense up when I saw the police. I don't know anyone in California to set residency; they have 5 year license. I always like to have backup option. Since this is new year I have many days i can take off to do this and wanted to do this in february and march.

If renewal comes in after march deadline when DACA expires would i still be able to extend my license renewal? ... anyone knows the answer to this

I tried searching on here but couldn't find a thread on this issue.

Back when I lived in Connecticut they gave me a full 6 years on my license with an 18 months EAD. I don't know if that still happens now as I live in NJ now. As long as you have a Valid EAD you should still be able to renew your license
