My dumbass got a car last fall in the midst of my permit being in limbo. IDK how and why any bank approved me for a loan seeing as how my permit was about to expire in 3 months. I go back and forth with it... I feel like a million bucks in it. Pero me duele el codo every time I have to make that $400 payment... plus insurance. Plus premium freakin gas. But then I think eff it, yolo i'm not getting any younger, i'm single, no kids, might as well live it up.

At least I was a little smart and didn't get it brand new. It's a 2013 G37 Sedan. It only had 35k miles!

the crazy thing is what was I doing with those $800-ish bucks a month before? where did it all go? Now i know it's going toward my car but before? who freaking knows.

Premium gas is a scam. Don’t use it.

Unless your car is a high performance machine, like a lamborghini or even a porsche which required the higher octane rating to achieve the ideal compression levels.

Most cars will work just the same with regular octane.

Read the car manual and it will give the recommended setting, you are not really improving performance that much to justify potentially hundreds of dollars more per year in expenses.

I made the mistake of buying a new car in 2015 after my other car was totaled by a person that decided to make a u-turn as I was crossing the intersection.

And then my dumbass traded that car for a newer car.

I ask myself the same question every 6 months I make the $2200+ insurance payment, and every month I pay the $450 for the car loan.

If I could do it again, I would buy used.

My wife also had a new car before we moved in together so we have two car notes we are paying and as for the high insurance rate.... Florida (ranked 2nd or 3rd highest cost car insurance rates in the country).

In other words, don't move to Florida, its all a scam.

2013 Infiniti for $400 assuming 60 months = 24,000... You could've just bought a 2018 Acura ILX for the same payment brand new or Civic for that matter.

That being said, if you get deported, you are off the hook So that's the positive.

JEsus! U bought it brand new? ... I’m in California so we r right behind you in premiums.

Also is this regular gas life hack real? I’ve heard of ppl putting regular gas in engines that require premium and it fucked them ip. Is it all a lie? I guess I’ll look at the manual. But even my brother and dad are like it’s better in the long run to use premium. Who do I believe!?!?!

It was $19K but high interest cuz of my non existent credit history. But I’m not worried cuz I know I can refinance. It was an emergency thing aka didn’t think it through.

It's a few cent difference, go with premium. You should've thought about it before buying a what they call 'luxury' brand.

My car is tuned on 91 Octane gas, it won't run right on less octane fuel.
