You're going to get in trouble with other ppl for posting separate from the thread.

But in regards to your question YES. There is literally nothing to protect us besides DACA right now. Once it's gone and your renewals are not in its OVER for you. Go back to the shadow/ self deport/ your presence is not acknowledged. I have a very strange circumstance which forces me to use a lawyer instead of self preparing, so I had to pay $1050 for lawyers fees + USCIS fees. I consider it worth it. If it works I was saved and that money is a fraction of what I could make in the two years of DACA . If it failed I don't regret not trying. In the long run that money is nothing compared to my peace of mind and the knowledge that I did everything I could. It's your call, but your cutting it close, your risking your future for what in the long run will be a nominal amount. You're basically saying you life is not even worth $500.

Even if a bill offering GC passes it won't be effective for some time. I'm thinking 8 months up to a year. The choice Is yours

You could of saved yourself $600 by filing it yourself. Extremely easy and straight forward app.

It is the equivalent to 0.68 cents per day for freedom.
You decide.

People spend more than that on Starbucks, video games, drinks at a bar, or the Elotes señor but have to think about it when it comes to USCIS.

I just learned a few days ago that ppl were already sending in renewals and I want to send mine but I don't have the money right now. Looking for ways to make some extra income to be able to file in a couple weeks but money is holding me back right now.

But yes, you should take the chance & send it in.

I was thinking of waiting too until March but you never know. Don't wait too long. I remember Nancy Pelosi said something about not believing that the deadline will be on March. I don't know about what she meant on that. Let's just hope that they do something when they come back for recess.

I think I literally said I have a complicated set of issues. When I try to do it myself I always have a major delays. Don't ask me specifics about my case. You won't get answers.
