Any information will be appreciated, I have also made an appointment with lawyer.

My friend with DACA, was diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer a couple of months ago. The doctors in USA have told him last week he has 10-15 days left to live and there is nothing they can do for him. His family found a place in Mexico where they are willing to try to help him. Since, DACA holders can no longer apply for AP anymore and that took months anyways does anyone know if there is any kind of permit he can apply for to be able to return if God allows him to get better. I know this is not his priority right now, his priority is to stay alive, but getting information is always helpful.

Maybe humanitarian parole? If he only has about two weeks left to live according the doctors it's not something he'll have time for to apply beforehand.

i was looking into humanitarian parole precisely, but they seem to require him to go in person to the office, which he is unable to, he is in a hospital and cannot live.

It's a long shot, but contact his local senator/congress rep; they might be able to help.

Try the above. Also contact the Mexican Consulate to intervene on his behalf.

So if he has like 20 days what can this place in Mexico do? If he has that many days left to be alive why does he even need AP...?

Sorry to hear that, very unfortunate situation - Are the doctors in Mexico going to try to cure him? If it were me at this point I'll just live life to the fullest for those 14 days.

He should definitely go. Never trust a US doctor. My dad had stage 4 colon cancer, he went to the hospital practically dying. The doctors didn't want to operate him saying he was too weak for the surgery and had a blockage in his heart. We were told to brace for the worst and start contacting all family members. After many fights between my family and them (6 weeks in the hospital, without eating anything and dying), they finally decided to operate him. The surgery went well and he was out of the hospital after 5 days. Rehab after that and doing fine now! He's a US citizen. My point is that the doctors here are always afraid to deal with extreme situations. They tend to give up on people very easily. Depending on his type of cancer, he should go immediately! I'm sure the doctors there will fight for him until the end.

Yes, he has been hospitalize for 12 days now and the doctors here won't do anything for him, just watch him die (cannot eat or drink). They didnt even try to transfer him to a better hospital that specializes in cancer The worst is to die without hope, at least if his family is able to take him there he will see people are trying and not given up completely on him. I am so glad your father survived such tough experience.

Stage 4 cancer is the last stage. The cancer probably metastasized to a point that doctors can no longer excise the tumor as it probably spreaded to other organs and tissues. Since he only has 20 more days left estimated, then shouldn't he just live his life to it's fullest?? Surround himself with family and friends?? Enjoy the rest of what's left instead of worrying about immigration??
