RFE'd on renewal

This is insane. I renewed 2 times before. It never happened.

Just received the RFE letter. I was arrested for failing to appear in court in 2010, 8 years ago. The RFE is asking me to provide full explanation and certified court disposition, arrest record, charging document etc.

I did provide berief explanation on Page 7 of i-821d. DACA application specifically says NOT to include old case information. Why is USCIS asking for it now?

I know where to get the certified court disposition. Where do I go to get arrest record, and charging document? I live in Chicago, IL.

Arrest record will probably be in the your county's courthouse or sheriff's department.

Again, Good moral character has been redefined. If you have been arrested or have a charge on record...USCIS wants to make it absolutely clear that the NEW standard of "good moral character" has not been broken as defined by the Trump administration.

Send it in ASAP so you can get out of this and get your renewal going

My case has been resolved since 2010.

I did some community service and my charge was dropped.

Even if charges were dropped it seems like this administration still counts them against you.

I am going to the county courthouse and sheriff's office tomorrow to get all the docs I can get
