It was a class c misdemeanor, minor possession of alcohol. I took care of it already but I'm just wondering what documents i need? I already have all the court documents except for a copy of my criminal history I called the court but they said only the police department can give me that information. I called the police department but they didn't pick up. My question is do I really need to send the criminal report?

They just picked up. They said they can't give me a copy of my criminal record, but they can do like a background check. It will take 3-5 days though.

Seeing that it's a misdemeanor, you must have gone through court. What you need is a certified copy of your case. Showing the charge and that it has been settled (by whatever punishment the judge handed down). You should be good from there.

You have to go to court with your case number and request a certified copy. It might be $30 or so.

I have a copy from the court saying that the case was dismissed.

Hope it was some good booze worth all the headache it's causing now.

I sent the court record showing the case was dismissed. And I was renewed. Although I would recommend sending early. It tends to take longer for approval for this kinda cases. I waited 7+ months.

Haha we didn't even get drunk. We only drank a little, but I learned my lesson the hard way.

Is that all you sent? Just a from saying it was dismissed? Did you need to send anything else? Like a background check?
