I came from the phillipines with my mom and brother when i was 6 years old, to be able to see my father since he came to America when i was 2 years old. My parents decided to stay here, being dentists with P.H.D's back at the phillipines they came here for God knows what, *possibly more money* and i guess they didn't really have any idea what they were getting themselves into, because 12 years later and after having the chances to be legalized with the 245-i and some guest worker program back then, i just could've never imagined that we would be in this situation after all of that time.

hi there.i extremely understand what you feel like everybody else here. i know its very tough going through all the ups and down of being in our situation, for a mistake that is not even our fault, yet by the end of the day, all we can do is just make the most out of everything here. stay hopeful and happy. =)

Welcome to DAP.

Yeah your situation is similar to mine, coming in at a young age. My parents thought they would be legalized by the time I was done with school, but it didn't turn out that way.

I will just say do something that you enjoy (school, volunteer, a job) so you wont keep thinking about your situation. It's hard, but that doesn't mean you can't make the best out of what you have.
