What documents do you need to bring to closing? Will they ask you immigration questions? I will be closing on a house soon. Finalizing the loan now. For some reason when my friend purchases his home in New York, they ask him to bring his green card/ US passport. I'm a little worry.

Ask your real estate agent.

I brought my SSN card and drivers license although they did not even bother to check. I signed and got out of there. Got the deed in the mail later on.

Don't want to open the can of worm with my agent. Her job is to help me look for a house. As long as I can get the loan, I don't think she needs to know since we can legally own a house.

I think it your mortgage company that would ask you immigration questions and not your realtor . If your mortgage has been approved, you should be good

Consular processing. Let’s get it right. Not AOS. Also, his kittiness might still be stuck at Juarez. I’d reserve any congratulatory notes till later.

When I closed, my CA id was enough. They just need to make sure you are the person in the docs.

It's a long and risky process, but I'm just so sick and tired of not moving forward with my life. Also I believe having a house and mortgage will help my waiver process since I'm the only one working and paying the mortgage.
