Hello, i just got a speeding ticket today and am scared shitless. Will this stop me from getting any sort of status in the future? I am currently a daca recipient. I am very scared i wont get status if a new bill comes out. Does this count as a misdemeanor?

If you have a license you shouldn't be worried. Just go to the courthouse and see if you can take defensive driving to get it removed. The whole thing with court costs should run you a couple of hundred dollars or less. Consider it a life lesson.

lmao if speeding tickets would disqualify you I don't think anyone would qualify. I have gotten 7 speeding tickets since DACA. I won 3 out of 7.

You’re fine. Even the bill that was introduced by Paul Ryan carves an exemption for traffic offenses.
