I am think of applying for my MBA and was wondering how useful/valued is it in other countries in case we are forced to leave the US? What is the demand like or will it help us get a well playing job in another country?

If anyone has any experience or knowledge, please share.

Serious answers please.

From what I can see MBAs are starting to become devalued as the result of so many people having them. At least in my company they are not really beneficial.

I cannot speak for other places though. I think the question should whether you like that line of work and if you are willing to spend the money for little to no return.

The value of the MBA is almost entirely in the networking you get through your university vs. the education that you get in it. An MBA from Harvard will set you up for life; an MBA from a generic state school might even set you back since you would be perceived as being too expensive.

What is your BS in?

In my company, they're seen as just another graduate degree, which definitely sets you apart from someone with only a bachelor's. I'd say get it if it's something you truly want. You'd achieve similar results with another Master's specific to the career you want to grow in.
