Just want to give everyone a fair warning!

After completing the change address with USPS, the page where it shows your confirmation number, there are two links you can click.

1. Update voter registration by clicking "Continue" <---of course not applicable to us
2. "Don't need Voter Registration right now? Go directly to MYMOVE.com to see more offers and deals" <--looks harmless right? WRONG!

When clicking on the 2nd link, you'll be presented with more offers. Most tempting is the 10% off amazon purchase which sounds good right now due to Prime Day. However, looking at the disclaimer it states "by clicking 'Get Offers', you are verifying that you are an American citizen and that the information you entered is accurate."

That's some sneaky trap they have there.

I wonder how long its been like that. I think I clicked that two years ago. I don't think that's legally binding, I hope not.

I did my change of address the manual way, by filling out a card and going to the postal office.
