DogJuiceMan Forum Provoker, Software Engineer, and somehow Artist Thread

This needs its own thread, enough of hijacking other's threads.

I started drawing cause I wanted to make games in Unity, however I have no artist or sound skills, so it would be a game with poor assets and no sound. I have a game idea in my head but no way to produce it without visuals.

I used to be in a game dev group, but they became too annoying to continue working with. The other programmer must've hated me, despite me being on ultra best behavior and utmost professionalism and respect. Maybe I should've used better word choice?

So I told them I was thru, and besides I wasn't fully signed on to the idea the rest of the team thought up. It was a poorly thought out idea, with barely any artist power involved.

Now I must develop art skills and develop them fast if I want to make games in flash, HTML5, and Unity.


Anyhow, I've been drawing for uh two-three solid months now. Hard work every day.
Let me show you what I've done with two months.
I have here selected only what I feel are the best gems, there are many more drawings in my notebook that are of poor quality, or just of doodle quality.

That's very impressive

You can do the same too comrade, it takes patience and hard work.
If you can write you can draw.

I will post all my sketchbook in order tomorrow so people can see the bad drawings too.
It can be very frustrating to draw because you want perfection, perfection is not obtainable. Live in the now, appreciate your drawing for what it is presently.

This is why they need to fix that registration form. The world needs to see this.
