hi,

im Jovan and i'm not documented in this country. I have a tremendous relif in saying that for some reason. I never really told anyone and now i feel like i have support.

I was born in Mexico and my parents divorced when i was around 1. My mother was in a abusive relationship and she tried to leave my dad many times. He would always manipulate her and she decided enough was enough. She decided to run away from home, but my dad ended up keeping me. My mother tried so hard to gain custody of me and even went to a lawyer for help. My dad told a judge during the custody battle that my mother was crazy and she didnt deserve me. Since he paid the judge, custody was granted to my father and weekend visitation was granted to my mother. My father would tell my mother that the only way she would get me back was to go back to him. My mother refused, because she promised herself that she will never go back. Several months passed and my mother and father had a huge fight because my mom missed me so much and she was beginning to fall into depression. That night my father beat my mom. She fought back stood on her two feet and told him that this time she was going to do something about it. That night she ended up kidnapping and the next day, my mother, her bestfriend and me crossed the border into US.

I was told this story when i was eighteen. My mother since married her bestfriend and that is who i call dad. I also recently called my biological father and it was beyond akward. I could feel he was so hurt and so surprised that I called. I hope we can establish a friendship.

well, i recently graduated from high school and im trying so hard to get a loan to go get a degree in Theatre Arts. I fell in love with the art of performing and i really want to go to Texas Wesleyan University. They were very impressed with my resume and granted me a scholarship, but however that is not enough.

if i dont find a loan, my dreams will fade, just like America and the so called american dream

please any help will be greatly appreciated.
