Not true. I self prepared mine. Just waiting for the result of a FOIA before jumping ship to Juarez. We have no kids.

Depends how strong your evidence is. If your spouse has brain cancer, then you could literally write a paragraph saying she will die without your support along with prognosis and you will get approved. If your extreme hardship is weak, then a lawyer can beef it up. I just read other forums other letters and picked pints that applied to us while putting good evidence. Points without evidence will be deemed for an RFE or in today’s times, a possible denial.

I was apprehended by the Border patrol when I first tried to come in. I need to make sure I was turned away rather than removed otherwise the 601a won’t help me out if I was removed instead of turned away.
