SHIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET

Those of you who are the best thinkers, need to help a dog out.

I have canned foods, will be getting water tomorrow, I have two flashlights and several batteries.
I need to figure out which way I'll get flooded.

I have some boots that can withstand water up to knee height.

Hopefully the local river does its duty, and the gutters remain potent.

Never in my life have I been threatened by a hurricane right on top of my ass.

That’s what happens when you live in the sticks. The NC government doesn’t give two shits whether or not you survive this. Just pray to your Jesus idol and tell the other hicks around you to do the same. Maybe the hurricane will die then.

I don't know if they care or not, but I hope they come rescue my ass. If I go offline and the hurricane is hitting NC, I survived and am save, survived in danger, died and not safe, died and safe.

You are right I should pray the hurricane away.

I would strongly consider evacuation.

Aw fuck its aiming right at me. Well maybe a little to the right, but I'm gonna get rained on.

At least its gonna slow down by the time it hits land as a cat 2.

cat 2 96-110 mph
83-95 kt
154-177 km/h Extremely dangerous winds will cause extensive damage: Well-constructed frame homes could sustain major roof and siding damage. Many shallowly rooted trees will be snapped or uprooted and block numerous roads. Near-total power loss is expected with outages that could last from several days to weeks.

Here's hoping it doesnt magically gain steam and turn into a cat 3.

I really should go get water and canned foods.
Lots of people are predicting it will curve away at last minute and only destroy outerbanks.

I would heed your warning about evacuation, but I don't know where to evacuate towards. I'm so damn screwed.
I might drown when the waters come.

Fuck, cant even save my own ass.

Tbh I would start setting up hotel reservations now because I Dres the Hurricane Hunter, look I've seen the models and they're the best weather models out there in the world, and the things I've seen from the models tell me that this will be a very strong storm. The strongest of storms a Category 5.

Ima have to go get some gas cans now to fill up and ensure I have enough fuel to make it to safety. Will keep you guys posted.

National weather service is predicting it to become a cat 2 by the time it reaches me, we'll see.

The models fully projecting a NC direct hit, get out of the flood zones if you’re in one.
