Gonna have a hard time finding one with out credit. And if you don’t its gonna be at an expensive shitty place.

if you have no credit history you will just have to pay double the deposit. I used apartments.com to find one, but I would recommend having your parents help you pick. Older people are better at scouting out the bad things in an apartment (mold, humidity, air access, etc)

Check out the neighborhood at different times, find out who the neighbors are, what they do, when they do it, where they go.

You don't want to end up in a neighborhood with bad neighbors with shitty pitbulls in the yard roaming free, screaming kids, or lound booming stereos on cars while youre trying to sleep, or some selling marijuana out of their appeasements to all sorts of shady cats.

Normally various places have crime maps representing various types of crime and the amount of crime that usually happens in that area. Avoid those areas, they have negative value except for cheap housing in a bad area.

In good areas, vacant lots are coveted, in bad areas vacant lots can't even be given away for free.

Upon looking at this data you will notice some trends, follow the trend and you will follow a path to safety, security from theft, and a clean safe mode of living.
