Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said on Wednesday that he will make an effort to get funding for President Trump's border wall in the lame-duck session, adding that he had already spoken to House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) earlier in the day.

But McConnell said he hoped to avoid a government shutdown, observing that he would need Democratic votes to pass any year-end spending bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security.

Asked about a possible DACA fix moving in the lame-duck session or next year, Mitch McConnell replies, "Oh my goodness."

"I can't imagine with all the things we have to do here to wrap up this Congress that we would revisit immigration," he add

Well, Dems better not give him a damn penny for Wall funding this lame duck then.

Oh god please fuck you. But then he is the majority so he gets to pick what goes on the floor. Haha. Fuck this shit. Funding bill is our only hope, but D seems like they will lean with the R because they are so minor in the Senate now.

Senate dems have no reason to give Trump Wall funding without getting anything in return.

What did they get in return last time? Not much.

Guys dont forget Democrats did not run on immigration at all. They avoided the subject throughout the midterms. Do not expect them to start talking about it now. Do expect speeches about taking over the Executive in the next election.

There is no time to revisit immigration, but we have time to visit border wall funding which is part of immigration.

GOP really don't want to do any fix for DACA and watch it die in Supreme court. DEM > GOP
