Hello everyone,
Looking for information around the web I found this website. As soon as I saw it I registered to become a member, and here I am posting my first message. I found this forum very informative and helpful to me and all of us who are in the same situation.

Basically this is my story: I have been living in the States for 12 years. I attended public schools in Texas fifth through twelfth grade. High school came along and I thought my education had come to an end. Thanks to God that I did my research and I was able to find my way into college and acquire financial aid through scholarships. My family made a great effort to educate me by paying some of the tuition and books. Now, I am graduating from college in two weeks and will find myself unable to use my degree in the workforce. This has caused me some frustration. I have earned a worthless degree. I can not apply for any job because don’t have a social security. I have ended in the same place where I began. Don’t get me wrong. I have enjoyed every single moment of my college education. I think it has been the best thing that ever happened to me. It expanded my horizons intellectually. It made me more mature. It made me realize my place in society. I became a critical thinker and a humanist. But when will I be redeemed? My next goal was to attend graduate school but it is now out of the question. I will not have enough funding and I don’t know of any graduate program accepting undocumented students. I wish I could go to graduate school…I have the grades; I have the motivation. However, I lack information need to achieve my next goal. Perhaps I have to face the world now and get a job cutting people’s grass or get the typical undocumented job. Well I wanted to share my story to all dreamers. Now, I have some questions.

Will the DREAM Act still apply to me after I graduate from college? I am 21, almost 22 years old with a-soon-to-have bachelor’s degree.

No offense or anything, but all the information you're looking for is a simple click away. It'll take about 30 seconds of your time to search for it though.

Good luck with your education, and congratulations on graduating, it's hard on all of us.

Congrats! I think there's a thread in the Off Topic forum where they are talking about graduate programs that accept undocumented students. In any case, I know there are a few members on this site who have gone to or been accepted to gradf school.
