They should go with trumps proposal. Bridge act opens the doors for congress to negotiate immigration later on and it sort of legitimizes daca. Yes its short of a permanent solution but its better than nothing and democrats have not shown much effort for many years to do a permanent solutions. The only thing they have done is use us for elections. So now its the end game, they might as well pass this and open up some trust and bipartisanship towards broader immigration reform.
