Hey folks, I'm taking a whirlwind trip to the East Coast and spending two days (arrive on a Friday- leave on a Sunday) in NYC before heading down to Virginia.

I could care less for shopping or nightlife but would like to hear your recommendations for the big apple.

Walk the Highline (elevated pedestrian park) there are some hipster coffee/food places in the area. I don’t know how much you know about NYC or if you’ve ever been. But going through Central Park or Times Square is always fun. Same for little italy or chinatown

If you like classical music. There are concerts on a boat on the brooklyn side of the brooklyn bridge.

Cheap and very nice views of the manhatan skyline.

I think its even free... You can take pictures before and after then walk across the bridge, a popular thing to do.

Take the Sky train to Rosevelt island ? I believe that what its called. Little Italy is fun, so is Little China. Statue of Liberty is meh... Subway is a neat/weird experience. Go times square and all that classic touristy bullshit. Its fun. I was there for 24 hours and walked over 30 miles. Grand central park is cool too. So many friendly squirrels.. bahaha. Just dont visit the bathroom at the park.. Sketchy as fuck

Thanks for the advice folks. I'm looking forward to checking out Central Park and riding the subway. I think I'm going to be lowkey comparing that to Chapultepec Park and the metro in Mexico City.

I'll also look out for the highline.
