I may be posting too early... but I'm having a hard time finding a forum or page that gives updated information on the Dream Act itself. If it is available, it would be cool to have it more, noticeable?

If not, I believe the purpose most join the group is to learn as much as they can about the status of the Dream Act, so perhaps a page that may need to be refreshed every so often, containing the most current info out there on the Dream Act, could benefit new members.

I reiterate, perhaps I should have browsed some more before posting... but I'm still searching for more definitive information at the time. Other than....great site!

You are right, it is not as easy to find this information as it should be. For now it is still easier to visit the DREAM Act wikipedia page for a quick update.

i second ECW. from experience, i get news on dream act here before anywhere else. faster, better, and more relevant news than any us news organization available.

plus, other members mark in bold all the important stuff so i don't have to read all the fluff... which is awesome and saves me time.

I agree that the DAP is the best place to get news about the DREAM Act. But for those who are new to the site or simply browsing the web for information, the plethora of threads in the forums can be overwhelming. It may be helpful to have some sort of DREAM Act primer in the front page of the website, so people can access the information they need without having to open several threads in the forum. If important information is consolidated into one webpage, it will be easier for us to inform people and, quite possibly, attract more people to join the DAP.

DAP is definitely the best place for information on the Dream Act. However we do need some sort of page where new members and guests, that don't know much about this site, can get a quick run down on where the Dream Act stand. I think on Cosa they had something like this (unfortunately never updated) where it showed where the dream act stands. It's a very good idea to have something basic because a lot of people don't know much about politics and the process of passing a bill. I think we need like a page where it displays information on the Dream Act.

Introduced - > House -> Senate -> Obama's Desk -> Signed

Cosa had something like that. It would be nice to have it here too. Just a thought.

how about a newsletter? I believe this can be accomplished with the email used to register on the forums. Every time there is an update, then send the update in letter format to the site members, and maybe also send a text message on the phone through the website. I done this kind of jobs for website before. I am willing todo all the work. I volunteer (for crying aloud, lol)
