Honestly, since it's technically within the US just your valid state ID/DL. You should however carry copies of your DACA approval with you just in case along with your EAD. And don't cross over into the British side. But my only fear is that for some odd reason your plane has to make an emergency landing in some foreign country like the Dominican Republic or Haiti since I'm sure those are close and then you could find yourself in a sticky situation. But that's just the paranoid person within me. Also make sure you don't have connecting flights outside of the US on your way to the islands.

You 'do not' need a passport but I guess it will come down to how much of a dick is the person checking your ID at the airport

If you do carry those items with you, keep them very secure. And always show only your ID/DL. Act like you don’t even have all those DACA documents. You will be fine.

Just called Spirit and was told that it is a domestic flight and not to worry about it.

Im carrying my social security card, EAD, EAD approval letter, Mexican passport and the letter from the social security department that i applied a social security card through a EAD from homeland security just in case.

Going to carry 2 shirts 2 pants my phone charger, smart watch, phone, bluetooth headset and thats it.

You come through customs on the way back. That charge pays their salary
