I just came across this post on DACA Sub-Reddit, it was posted less than an hour ago:

The OP claimed that he was just riding the train when he was arrested by ICE. He still has his phone but it might be taken away soon. Can anyone on this forum offer him some help or advice. Dude must be really scared now. OP did mention an old deportation order, does his DACA status protect him from that? Should he mention it to ICE?

Old deportation orders seem to be a stink that doesn't wash away easily.

Late 40's Dreamer (Holy Fucking shit I'm almost 50 and still dealing with this), aged out of original DACA and didn't have a chance to apply for extended DACA after Republicans killed it on the vine.

That’s BS. I’ve been to Montana. I love Montana. Montana is beautiful, but people are racist there. A US citizen was stopped by CBP for speaking Spanish in Montana. I have DACA with an expunged DUI on my record. I have LITERALLY gone down to San Ysidro POE and asked for my detention records of 19 years ago. CBP’s asked me how are you in the country now, I said I have DACA. They didn’t even look at it. They just said “ We believe you”. I was on the US side at San Ysidro POE talking to a white and Hispanic guy. But Montana is another monster.
