TL;DR: Worried my temporary visitor stamp on my driver's license will warrant questions in Kansas City International Airpot.

I want to visit a friend in Kansas City but I don't fly too much domestically. My biggest fear is someone rogue will question me or press me about my ID.

I have a NY state drivers license that has a temporary visitor expiration date that has the same expiration date as my work authorization card. I'm planning on flying out of JFK or LaGuardia and so I'm not worried about that but more so worried on the return-trip if a TSA agent in Kansas City will question my temporary visitor expiration.

What would be a good response for DACA recipients if they were to casually ask "So you're just here temporary?"

Not sure if I'm overthinking this. If I was flying to a more liberal state then I wouldn't be so worried. I've flied to Miami, LA, and SF before without problems.

Anyone have experience flying out of Kansas with your ID that has temporary visitor stamp on it?

Thanks!

Should be fine. I have TX drivers license and it also has temporary visitor written on top. I'm not sure about the Kansas, but I've traveled to many different city within US and had no issue and no one questioned. Also, I have few friends who are here with F1 visa (international students) and they also have temporary visitor stamp on their license. I don't think you'll have any issue.

What’s there in Kansas? You’ll be fine. No one is going to ask you about the temporary stamp

Pretty much in the middle of the country and not in the 100 mile zone so it's probably safer than most places.

Yes, nothing to worry about flying from anywhere in this country. And I've flown in and out of Kansas City, MO many many times for work. Just look up the Real ID related stuff with regards to the New York DL. That's all I would do.
