Music festival asking for valid I.D. Anybody have experience?

I'm heading to a music festival this year and they guidelines say only a US government issued I.D. is valid for identification. I know that means a matricula is out of the question but has anybody else experienced not being able to get in to a music festival because you only had a matricula?

I've been able to get into other events and places where they required I.D. to get in and had no issue before.

A passport should work, what about people rich enough to travel here just to see them?

Thing is, passport is hella expired. I’m pretty sure it has a baby pic of me too. It does say foreign ID with passport is permitted tho.

its such a weird thing they want an US ID, any form of id should work

Nahh long story short, I had shit lawyers that had no idea what they were doing which discouraged me from applying, it wasn’t until 2016 that I received what I needed but you know what happened.

Lawyers are so useless.

My fault for believing they would help me for free.

Your DL will get you in.

Mine is from NC and says no lawful status in red on the front. No bar has ever cared. No cop has ever gave a damn. No TSA agent has given a damn and I went cross country.

Time to stop being bloody irresponsible and head to the consulate for a passport. Smh
