Dismaying immigrants and advocates, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has sent out letters saying the agency will no longer consider most deferrals of deportation for people with serious medical conditions, documents show.

The agency is now saying those decisions will be made by another agency: U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The small program, known as "medical deferred action," allows people to remain in the U.S. for two-year periods if they can prove extreme medical need. Many of the people affected by the policy change came to the U.S. through a visa or other permitted status and are requesting to stay beyond those terms to receive medical treatment.

"The denials say specifically that the immigration service is just no longer considering deferring action at all in these cases, which would be a first in decades," he said.

Marino added many of the affected clients at the center are families whose children have cancer, cystic fibrosis, HIV, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and epilepsy.

The dated letters notified families they must leave the country within 33 days of the government's writing. Otherwise, they face removal and exclusion from the U.S. for several years. Legal advocates across the country have reported clients receiving similar denial letters.

HIV is no longer a serious illness as it once was. HIV is now treatable with one pill a day.

All the other ones are quite serious, but unfortunately the cost is passed onto the citizenry.
With that said even if they are kids, the cost should not be passed on.

Be careful, your "think of the children" fallacy is showing.

The think of the children logical fallacy is used to short circuit the logical module and go strait for the emotional module. However DogJuiceMan-bot has no such thing as emotion, pity, or remorse. DogJuiceMan bot is a cold calculating alligator-dog-machine.

1/3rd unfeeling reptile.
1/3rd not nice dog
1/3rd unfeeling machine.

These are hard choices that are made to clear room for us. By removing sick kids the Rump administrator shows just how vile and degenerate they really are. Think of the children. Loaded up on flights by force, in just 33 days. Sick as hell. Put into a disease tube known as the plane.

People will die because of this choice, more blood on the rump administration.

Any piece of human trash here who believes sick people deserve to be deported to their deaths or have medical care withheld/withdrawn to satisfy this racist administration deserves to have their Daca status revoked on the grounds of poor moral character.

Looks like the writers of the post managed to activate your emotional circuirts instead of your logic circuits.

Think with your head. Honestly, yours should be revoked for having zero logical thought. This is not a Nation of compassion, but a Nation of logical thought. Incompatible, back to Haiti. On the menu, dirt cookies.

Humans are emotional, it's innate. Your fake logic above all else persona is an emotional reaction to your environment and personal experiences.
