My EAD expires end of March 2020. I sent my renewal application very early, back in end of February this year. Reason why I did that was because I read some posts by members here that they had sent early renewal (way before 150 days) and got approved without getting the application sent back.

I did my biometrics in March, and I'm still waiting to get my renewal approved. 150 days before my expiration will be end of this month. Will I automatically get renewed (if everything goes well, which it should, since I have been renewed twice before and haven't caused any trouble/gone outside the country) or do you think my case has been forgotten? I checked USCIS and it's still "active", just the last updated was back in March.

Has anyone experienced getting automatically renewed 150 days before expiration when they sent the renew app way early? Should I call USCIS now? Should i sent another renewal app?

Wait another month, then call USCIS and open a case with the ombudsman.

Couple of us on the forum who applied early were renewed right on the 150 day mark. My EAD expires on 3/9/2020. I was renewed on 10/10/2019.

I applied super early (about 15 months early) and got renewed like 148? days before my actual expiration as well. The new expiration date is 2 years from date of approval so I did lose about five months - but - I am happy I applied anyway. There are a number of lawsuits (like the Haven suit) which may stop renewals at any moment.

Agreed 100%!

I am going to apply again in Jan/Feb ( before the June decision).

My EAD expires May 2020. You think I should submit my renewal right now?

No, Trump will take care of you separately. You can relax.
