Tonight was the first night of the convention.

Ted Kennedy gave a speech and so did Michelle Obama.

Thoughts??

^LMAO

I didn't catch Kennedy's speech,

I did hear Michelle's (and her brother's) speech. I rather liked it. I know some people are critizicing her because she didn't go in deph on the issues, but I don't think that she wanted to do that. From what i saw, she just wanted to talk about personal experiences and how she and her family can relate to the American people (specially Hilary supporters). This was more about trying to come off as a strong all-american family that just wants to make this a better country.

Remember the Simpson's Lochness Monster Episode when Homer waxes poetic over Arthur Fortune?

Homer goes "(loving sigh...) Arthur Fortune (loving sigh...)"

I have the same reaction with Hillary - (loving sigh ...) Hillary Clinton (loving sigh ...)

Michelle Obama did a great job last night. I hope she continues the tradition of strong Democratic First Ladies - Eleanor Roosevelt, Jackie O, Lady Bird Johnson, Rosalind Carter, and Hillary Clinton.

I loved how Michelle tied in Hilary's comments about making about 18 million cracks on the glass ceilings.

We all need Obama to win.

I wonder what Hillary will say tonight.

Well, the speech from Hillary, I thought, was well done.
Even Bill Clinton was tearing up.

Although, I thought she talked more of why SHE ran for president than anything else.
I noticed that she mentioned immigration once.

Michelle's speech was really, really good. Hillary is also a fine speaker. I enjoyed every moment of their speeches.
