Hey all
Ive been saving for a house and finally have enough for a down payment. Now i am shopping around for a loan but am coming across issues when sitting down at a bank. I sit down and tell them i make X amount and am looking for a loan >500k. One thing they ask for is if im able to work in the US. Ive been to Citi and they flat out said our work authorization wouldnt fly. My mom has a greencard but makes <40k a year so maybe that would help?
Has anyone had any success this year requesting a loan?
What were the rates you got approved for?
